Mightier Than The Sword Awards
at Sunset Film Festival

Get ready for ASHEBORO'S first ever International Film Festival!

Our two day event (January 11&12, 2024) will give the opportunity for audiences to see a wide array of films from film-makers all around the world.

Curated and directed by Asheboro native, Tyler "Ty Bru" Brueilly, Our screening blocks are dedicated to films made in or around Randolph County as well as late Documentaries, music videos, shorts, and late night Horror Content and urban Comedy, with over 50 films to watch during the two day span.

There are Q&A panels scheduled, meet and greet sessions and even some filming to be done during the event. We will also have an opening night reception and networking event the night prior to screening. Jan 10th at Flat Iron Downtown Greensboro. 

​

We are also to have award presentations going on throughout the event, not only for films but also for music, photography, journalism and activism in the community that has been chosen by three distinct groups of judges.
